Winnetoon, Nebraska’s big BBQ Celebration will be Saturday, August 6th. A Kiddie Parade with a Barnyard/Farm Theme will be at 4:30PM on Main Street, with registration at 4:00PM, or pre-register by calling 402-358-0320. Over $500.00 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top five kids’ entries, with a free meal for all participants. The big BBQ Meal will be served from 5-7pm on Main St. for a free-will offering, the Bethesda Mini-Camp will be selling Root Beer Floats, and the Winnetoon Mall will be having their sidewalk sales throughout the celebration. There will be live music with Kimberly Meyer in concert from 5-8pm, followed by the Prairie Thunder Band Street Dance from 7 to Midnight, with a beer garden throughout the evening. Don’t forget to purchase your raffle tickets from any Winnetoon merchant or improvement club member now through the drawing at 10:00PM during the street dance for your chance to win a 2022 Can Am 450 Outland ATV or $5,000.00 Cash, with all proceeds going to improvements at the Winnetoon Village Park.
