Summer Internship Offered
This summer the local, low power station, located at St. Ludger Elementary School and operated by St. Ludger Parish, is excited to announce that it is offering a paid internship for two Creighton High School students. Creighton Community Radio, 95.9 FM, has been slowly building up its programming since it went on the air on February 2nd, 2015. It’s also been growing a faithful following of listeners who enjoy the rock music format and the local talent. “While the students will learn everything there is to learn about running a radio station, my hope is that the real lesson learned is the importance of community and how to work together to build it up,” said Fr. Jeff Lorig, pastor of St. Ludger Church.
Twenty hours a week. Flexible schedule. Learn and put into practice everything there is to know about running a radio station. Be creative, be enthusiastic, be part of the mission to serve our community. Must be 16 years of age.
Those interested can email us at CreightonRadio@gmail.com or call Fr. Lorig at 402-358-3596.
